Marketplace Guide: Discover, Fork, and Publish AI Prompt Templates Inside Vincony OS

# Marketplace Guide: Discover, Fork, and Publish AI Prompt Templates Inside Vincony OS

If you have seen the public Marketplace overview page and wondered what the tool actually looks like in practice, this guide is for you. The Marketplace inside Vincony OS is a live workspace — a community-powered library of reusable prompt templates, agent configurations, and pipeline blueprints that you can preview, fork, rate, and publish without leaving your dashboard.

This is not the same as the marketing landing page. The in-app tool at /os/marketplace is where the real work happens: browsing real templates published by other Vincony users, filling in variables to see exactly how a template will behave, forking a template straight into your saved prompts library, and publishing your own creations so the community can use them too.

---

How the Marketplace Works

Three types of templates

Every item in the Marketplace is one of three types, each shown with a distinct color accent:

  • Prompts — single-turn instruction templates, ideal for copywriting, SEO, research briefs, or any task you run repeatedly.
  • Agents — pre-configured agent instructions that wire up a specific persona or skill set.
  • Pipelines — multi-step workflow blueprints that chain tasks together.

You can filter by type at any time using the All / Prompts / Agents / Pipelines selector in the filter bar.

Variables make templates reusable

Templates use curly-brace placeholders — for example {topic}, {tone}, {audience}, {format} — so a single template can serve dozens of different jobs. When you expand a template's Preview template section, input fields appear for each variable. Type your values and watch the preview update in real time with your filled-in text highlighted in green.

Discovery surfaces

The Marketplace opens with three curated sections above the main grid:

  • Staff Picks — top-rated templates with at least two community ratings (4 stars or higher), highlighted in amber.
  • New This Week — templates published in the last seven days, so you never miss what is freshly added.
  • Trending — the three templates with the highest combined fork count and rating score right now.

Clicking any card in these sections scrolls you directly to the full card in the grid below and opens its preview automatically.

Use-case chips for fast filtering

A row of quick-filter chips — Marketing, Development, Research, Content, Sales, Workflows — lets you narrow the grid to a specific category with a single click. The chips disappear when you are searching or viewing your own listings, keeping the interface clean.

Step-by-Step: Find and Use a Template

1. Open the Marketplace

Navigate to /os/marketplace. You need a Starter plan or above — on Free, the page shows a plan upgrade prompt. Starter, Pro, Power, and Business plans all have access.

2. Browse or search

Use the search bar at the top of the filter area to run a keyword search across template titles, descriptions, and full content. The shortcut / focuses the search field from anywhere on the page (without typing in another input). Press Escape to clear and return focus.

To narrow results further, combine: - Type filter (Prompts / Agents / Pipelines) - Category filter (General, Marketing, Code, Writing, Research, Business, Workflow, Sales, Development, Content) - Sort order (Newest, Top Rated, Most Forked)

Active filters appear as dismissible badge chips below the search bar with a result count — for example "14 templates". Click any chip or Clear all to reset.

3. Preview a template

Click Preview template on any card to expand the live preview. If the template has variables, fill them in using the mini input fields that appear. Unfilled variables show in amber; filled variables render in green in the preview pane. This lets you verify the output before committing to anything.

4. Use in Chat

Click the Use button on any card to send the template's full content directly to Prompt Lab — or more specifically, to the Chat interface with the text pre-filled. You can edit it there before sending.

5. Fork to your library

Click Fork to save a copy of the template to both your personal saved-prompts library and your own marketplace listings. The fork is tagged with marketplace and forked for easy filtering later, and the original template's fork count increments automatically. Forked cards display a forked badge so you always know where they came from.

6. Copy the raw text

Click the copy icon button on the card to copy the raw template text to your clipboard instantly — useful when you want to paste it somewhere outside Vincony.

7. Rate a template

Signed-in users see an interactive star rating widget at the bottom of each card (guests see the read-only average). Click 1–5 stars to rate. You can update your rating at any time; the aggregate average reflects all ratings from across the community.

---

Step-by-Step: Publish Your Own Template

Publishing is open to all signed-in users on any paid plan.

1. Click Publish

Hit the Publish button in the top-right corner of the Marketplace header. A dialog opens.

2. Fill in the metadata

  • Template title — keep it descriptive and specific (good: "B2B Cold Email Opener for SaaS", not "Email prompt").
  • Type — choose Prompt, Agent, or Pipeline.
  • Short description — one or two sentences that explain what the template does and who it is for. This text appears on the card and in search results.
  • Category — pick the most relevant category from the dropdown (Marketing, Code, Writing, Research, Business, Workflow, Sales, Development, Content). This powers the category filter and use-case chips.

3. Write your template content

Type your template in the content textarea. Use {curly braces} to mark variables — click any variable chip from the preset row ({topic}, {tone}, {audience}, {format}, {length}, {language}, {style}, {context}) to insert it at the cursor. Detected variables appear automatically below the textarea so you can confirm they are correct before publishing.

Use Ctrl + Enter (or Cmd + Enter on Mac) to publish without reaching for the mouse.

4. Check the live preview

As you type, a Preview card renders in real time beneath the textarea — showing your title, type badge, description, variable chips, and category. This is exactly how other users will see your template on the grid.

5. Hit Publish Template

The template goes live immediately and appears in the grid sorted as newest. You can view your own listings at any time by clicking My Listings in the filter bar.

Creator Analytics

If you publish templates and want to understand how they are performing, navigate to /os/marketplace-analytics from your OS sidebar. The analytics dashboard shows:

MetricWhat it tracks
Total InstallsCumulative forks and uses across all your items
Revenue EarnedCredits earned if you publish paid items (Pro/Power/Business)
Active ItemsNumber of live published templates
Avg RatingWeighted average rating across all your items

The dashboard also shows a seven-day install bar chart, a sortable Top Items table (sort by installs, revenue, rating, or week-on-week trend), revenue breakdown by template type, and a live activity feed showing recent forks, reviews, and milestones.

Tips for Getting More From the Marketplace

  • Use variables deliberately. Templates with well-named variables ({audience}, {tone}, {product}) get forked far more often than static ones. Variables signal reusability.
  • Write a real description. The description appears in search results and on the card. Treat it like a one-line pitch: who is this for, and what does it produce?
  • Check Staff Picks first. Staff Picks are surfaced by rating quality, not just popularity — they are a reliable shortcut to the highest-signal templates in any category.
  • Sort by Most Forked for battle-tested templates. Fork count is the community's vote for "I actually used this repeatedly." It is often a better signal than average rating for practical utility.
  • Fork, then customize. Do not start from scratch. Fork a highly-rated template, tweak the variables and wording to match your workflow, then re-publish your improved version for others.
  • Keyboard shortcuts speed up browsing. Press / to jump to search instantly. Use category chips to narrow focus before searching. Click the filter badges to remove individual filters without clearing everything.

Plan Access

The Marketplace is available on Starter, Pro, Power, and Business plans. Free-tier users see the feature behind an upgrade prompt. Creator analytics at /os/marketplace-analytics are accessible on all plans that have Marketplace access.

If you are on Free and want to explore the full template library, upgrading to Starter is the fastest path — see the pricing page for current plan details.
