FAQ
Which platforms are available?
Windows and macOS desktop apps are available now, along with a Chrome/Edge/Firefox browser extension. iOS and Android are on the way — see the status badges above.
Why does my computer warn about the download?
These are early builds that aren't code-signed yet. On Windows click 'More info → Run anyway'; on macOS right-click the app and choose Open. Signed and notarized builds — with no warnings — are landing shortly.
Is it free?
Yes — the app is free to download and use with your Vincony account, including the free plan's monthly credits. Paid plans add more credits and priority access.
Do I need to sign in again?
No. Sign in once (email or Google/Apple) and the desktop app keeps you logged in, just like the web app.
Is the desktop app secure?
Yes. It's a hardened shell with context isolation, no Node access in the page, and navigation locked to vincony.com — everything else opens in your real browser.
How do updates work?
Updates download silently and apply on restart, so you never have to re-download an installer.
